Okay, so, I’ve been glued to the TV all weekend, right? And let me tell you, this State Farm Women’s College Volleyball Showcase was something else! I mean, I’ve seen volleyball, but this was a whole different level. Seriously, the intensity, the athleticism—it was off the charts!
So, first things first, I had to set up my viewing station. You know, get the snacks ready, the drinks within reach. I even moved the couch a bit closer to the TV, just to make sure I didn’t miss a single spike or dive. I was ready to go.
Then, the games started. Oh boy, were they exciting! I heard that Texas was playing some familiar teams, and yeah, they did! They brought their A-game, that’s for sure. Every match was a nail-biter, down to the wire. I was literally on the edge of my seat, yelling at the screen like a crazy person. I think my neighbors probably thought I was losing it.
- The first match I watched was intense. The players were diving all over the place, making these incredible saves. It was insane!
- Then there was this one rally, I swear it lasted like five minutes. Back and forth, back and forth. I couldn’t even blink, I was so focused.
I saw somewhere that the event was at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, and you could feel the energy even through the TV. The crowd was wild, the players were pumped, it was just an amazing atmosphere. I mean, it was Labor Day weekend. You could just imagine how many people were there, all hyped up for some top-tier volleyball.
And the teams, wow! I learned that Stanford was in it, and they’re like, a big deal, you know? Number 18 or something like that. But all the teams were just phenomenal. These women are incredible athletes. The power, the precision, the teamwork—it was all just so impressive. I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen.
I gotta say, this was one of the best sporting events I’ve watched in a while. It got me so hyped up for volleyball! I’m even thinking of joining a local league or something. Maybe I’m too old for that, who knows? But yeah, it was that good.

This State Farm Women’s College Volleyball Showcase was a total blast. I spent my whole weekend watching it, and I don’t regret a single second. If you get a chance to watch these games, do it! You won’t be disappointed. These women are amazing, and the sport is just so much fun to watch. Five stars, highly recommend!
