Alright, listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about this… uh… Dripping Springs football. Yeah, that’s it. That’s the name.
So, I hear tell these young’uns, they play some kinda game with a ball, right? A football, they call it. And these Dripping Springs fellas, they seem to be pretty good at it, or so folks say. I ain’t never seen it myself, mind you. Too busy with my chickens and such.
But from what I gather, these Dripping Springs Tigers – that’s their name, like a big cat, you know? – they go up against other schools. Like this… uh… Harlan team. And Lake Travis Cavaliers. Fancy names, them schools got.
- They had a game on November 22nd against Harlan. Don’t know who won, but people were talkin’ ’bout it.
- And then there was this game against Lake Travis. Folks said it was a close one. Tigers won, 38 to 31. That’s a lot of points, I reckon. Musta been a real barn burner, as they say.
Now, this Kyle Koch fella, he’s one of them Tigers. People say he’s real good at catchin’ that football. Heard tell he caught a long one, 42 yards they said, from another fella named Maddox Maher. Scored a touchdown, they called it. That’s like gettin’ a point, I guess.
Seems like this Dripping Springs team is a pretty big deal. They’re even ranked in Texas, you know? Number 21 or somethin’. That’s gotta be somethin’, right? I mean, Texas is a big place, lots of towns and schools. So bein’ up there in the ranks, that’s gotta mean they’re pretty darn good.
High school football, they call it. I guess it’s a big thing for these young folks. Gives ’em somethin’ to do, keeps ’em outta trouble, maybe. ‘Cept for all that runnin’ around and hittin’ each other. Seems a bit rough to me, but what do I know? I just raise chickens.
They got all sorts of games, too. Not just football. Baseball, basketball, that runnin’ game… cross country? And golf, where they hit a little ball with a stick. Even swimmin’! Land sakes, they do it all. But this Dripping Springs football, that seems to be the one everyone’s jawin’ about.
This East View team, they were playin’ Georgetown. Heard East View was winnin’ for a bit there, 13 to 7. Don’t know how that one ended up though. Too many games to keep track of, if you ask me.
So, if you’re lookin’ for some excitement, seems like this Dripping Springs football is the place to be. Lots of yellin’ and cheerin’, I hear. And them young fellas runnin’ around like their tails are on fire. It ain’t my cup of tea, but folks seem to enjoy it. So there you have it, the lowdown on Dripping Springs football, as best as this old woman can tell ya. Go Tigers, or whatever they say.
And if you want more information, you can go to the school’s website or something. They probably have all the details there. I wouldn’t know where to start looking, though. I barely know how to use this phone thing, let alone a computer. But those young folks, they’re good with that stuff. They can find anything on that internet, I tell ya.
So that’s all I got to say about this Dripping Springs football. It sounds like a whole lot of fuss, but if it makes folks happy, then I guess it’s alright. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my chickens.
