Santa Fe High Baseball Team: Players, Stats, and Highlights

Well, let me tell ya ’bout this here Santa Fe High baseball. I ain’t no expert, mind you, but I know a thing or two ’bout watchin’ them boys swing bats and throw balls.

First off, ya gotta know there’s a bunch of Santa Fe High Schools, see? So, it gets kinda confusin’. We got the Santa Fe Chiefs, that’s one team, and then there’s the Santa Fe Indians, another one. Same name, different places, different boys. Confusin’, I tell ya!

Now, these boys, they play hard. They run around like chickens with their heads cut off, tryin’ to hit that little white ball and catch it too. Sometimes they do good, sometimes they don’t. That’s baseball, I guess. You win some, you lose some, just like life.

I heard tell there’s websites and stuff where you can see the Santa Fe baseball schedule and all that. They got the roster, that’s the list of players, and even the rankings, which tells ya how good they are compared to other schools. I ain’t got no computer, so I just listen to the folks talkin’ at the store.

  • They got this Varsity team, the best of the bunch. Them boys are somethin’ else, let me tell ya. Big and strong, they can really smack that ball.
  • Then there’s the other teams, junior varsity and such. They’re learnin’, gettin’ better all the time. Gotta start somewhere, right?

I seen some of these boys grow up, ya know? Little fellers turnin’ into big strong men. It’s somethin’ to see. Makes an old lady like me proud, even if they ain’t my own grandkids.

They say these boys got stats too. That’s numbers, like how many times they hit the ball and how many runs they score. Batting this, pitching that, fieldin’ the other thing. Too much for my old brain to handle, but some folks like that stuff.

And the coaches, bless their hearts, they work hard. Teachin’ these boys how to play the game, how to be good sports, how to be good people. That’s important, ya know? More important than winnin’ or losin’, I reckon.

This Santa Fe High School, it ain’t just about baseball, of course. It’s a whole community thing. Folks come out to watch the games, cheer on the boys, eat hot dogs and popcorn. It’s a good time, even if the weather’s hot or cold or rainin’ sideways.

I heard they even got livestreams now, so you can watch the games on your phone or somethin’. Fancy stuff, these days. Back in my time, you had to be there in person if you wanted to see the game. But I guess times change.

There’s also talk about alumni, that’s the folks who used to go to Santa Fe High. They come back sometimes, watch the games, remember their own glory days. It’s nice to see that, people comin’ back to their roots.

And the Santa Fe Saints, that’s another team altogether, playing in some college thing. Junior college, they call it. Them boys are good too, but that’s a whole different story.

Anyways, if you’re lookin’ for some good baseball, check out these Santa Fe High teams. Whether it’s the Chiefs or the Indians or even those college Saints, you’re bound to see some good playin’. And remember, it ain’t just about winnin’, it’s about them boys learnin’ and growin’ and havin’ some fun. That’s what matters most, in my book.

So there ya have it, my two cents on Santa Fe High baseball. Like I said, I ain’t no expert, but I know what I like. And I like watchin’ these boys play ball.

Fundraiser is somethin’ they do to get money for the team. Sellin’ candy and stuff. It helps the boys get what they need, new bats and balls and such.

And if you want to know more, you can find the team page online, I hear. Contact information and forms and all that. Like I said, I don’t mess with that computer stuff, but it’s there if you need it.

The school got a school page too. But I don’t know much about that. I just like the baseball. Them boys are somethin’ else.
