Ryan Wallace Obituary: Condolences and Funeral Service Information

Well, I gotta tell ya, this here story ’bout Ryan Wallace is right sad. It ain’t easy hearin’ ’bout young folks passin’ before their time. This Ryan fella, from what I hear, he was a good one. A real good one.

They say he was a homeowner down in Bastrop. Bought hisself a place, all proud and happy. And a Longhorn too, from that there university in Texas. Folks ’round here, they love them Longhorns. Sounds like he was doin’ alright for hisself.

But then, somethin’ awful happened. A crash, they say. A truck and a bus, smack dab in Hays County. And Ryan, he was caught right in the middle of it. Lord have mercy. Just like that, gone. It makes you think, you know? One minute you’re here, the next…poof. Like smoke in the wind.

  • He was on his way to get his sister’s kids, bless their hearts.
  • Just tryin’ to do a good deed, bein’ a good brother.
  • And then, bam! Everything changed.

Now, there’s this GoFundMe thing goin’ ’round for his family. Folks are tryin’ to help out, which is right kind of them. Seein’ as how Ryan won’t be bringin’ home no paycheck no more. It’s a hard world, and it’s even harder when you lose someone you love. Money ain’t everything, but it sure can help when you’re in a bind, especially after somethin’ like this.

And the smarts on this boy! They was callin’ him Dr. Ryan Wallace. Can you believe it? He worked and worked and got hisself a fancy degree, somethin’ called a doctorate. Right on that day with the sun hidin’ behind the moon, they said he done good. Real good. Made everyone proud.

He was studyin’ all that news stuff, journalism they call it. Seems like he wanted to tell stories, maybe write ’em down for folks to read. A good talker, I bet. Probably coulda charmed the birds right outta the trees. It’s a shame, a real shame, that we won’t get to hear more of his stories.

This whole thing makes my heart ache. A young man, full of life, with so much goin’ for him. And then, gone. Just like that. It ain’t right. It makes you want to hug your own young’uns a little tighter, you know? Tell ’em you love ’em. ‘Cause you just never know what tomorrow might bring.

They’re lookin’ for obituaries and death notices now, tryin’ to figure out when they’re gonna lay him to rest. Poor family. Havin’ to go through all that. It’s a heavy burden to carry. I hope they find some comfort in knowing that folks care. That Ryan was loved. And that he won’t be forgotten.

It’s a cruel world sometimes. Takes the good ones too soon. But I reckon Ryan’s up there now, lookin’ down on us. And maybe, just maybe, he’s writin’ a story about it all. A story about a good man, a Longhorn, a doctor, and a brother. A story worth tellin’. And Lord knows, there’s nothin’ more important than a good story.

So, let’s remember Ryan. Let’s remember his kindness, his smarts, and his love for his family. And let’s try to be a little bit more like him, every day. The world could sure use a little more goodness, that’s for sure.
