Planning a Trip? Grand Cayman 15 Day Weather Forecast is Here

Well, lookie here, you wanna know about the weather in that Grand Cayman place, huh? For like, 15 days? Alright, alright, I’ll tell ya what I know. Don’t expect no fancy words though, I just talk plain.

First off, they got this thing called a “forecast.” Sounds mighty important, like them city folks trying to sound smart. Basically, it’s just somebody guessin’ what the weather’s gonna be. Sometimes they’re right, sometimes they ain’t. Just like my old rooster, sometimes he crows, sometimes he don’t.

Now, this Grand Cayman, it’s a place where the sun shines a lot. They say it’s warm there, like real warm. Not like back home where we gotta chop wood to keep warm in the winter. They got sunshine and what they call “sea breezes.” Sounds nice, don’t it? Like a gentle wind blowin’ through your hair.

But even in a warm place, it can rain. They say October is the rainiest month. Pours like a cow peein’ on a flat rock, I reckon. And then there’s this “rainy season” from July to November. September and October, they’re the worst. So, if you’re goin’ there in them months, bring an umbrella. Or a big ol’ hat, at least.

They talk about the wind too. Somethin’ about “knots.” I don’t know nothin’ about knots, ‘cept for tyin’ my shoes. But they say the wind can be strong, blowin’ like a banshee. And the waves, they can get big too. Five to seven feet they say. That’s taller than my grandson Billy! So, if you’re out on a boat, hold on tight.

Now, for that 15-day thing you asked about. That’s a long time to be guessin’ the weather, even for them city folk. But I heard tell they got these websites and things that try to do it. They say it’s gonna be sunny for a few days, then maybe a little rain, then sunny again. Kinda like life, ain’t it? Ups and downs, sunshine and rain.

They got this “high season,” or “dry season,” from November to April. That’s when all the rich folks go down there, I guess. It’s sunny and not too rainy. January and February, they’re the coolest months. But cool there ain’t like cool here. They say it’s still warm, like in the seventies. Heck, that’s summer weather for us.

  • Sunshine: Lots of it, ‘specially in the dry season. But even then, a cloud might sneak in now and then.
  • Rain: October is the wettest. Rainy season is July to November. Bring an umbrella, just in case.
  • Wind: Can be strong sometimes. They use them fancy “knot” words to measure it.
  • Waves: Can get big, ‘specially when the wind is blowin’ hard.
  • Temperature: Warm all year round. Even the “cool” months are warm.

So, there you have it. That’s all I know about the weather in Grand Cayman for 15 days, or however long you’re plannin’ on stayin’. Just remember, it’s a warm place with sunshine, but it can rain and the wind can blow. Pack your bags accordingly, and have yourself a good time. Don’t forget to send me a postcard!

And one more thing, don’t go trustin’ them weather folks too much. They ain’t always right. Sometimes it’s best to just look up at the sky and see for yourself.

AccuWeather and some other places, they give you the weather for George Town, which I reckon is the main place in Grand Cayman. They say they can tell you the weather for 90 days, but that sounds like a whole lotta guessin’ to me.
