Alright, alright, let’s talk about them pretty girls, the ones vying to be Miss Pennsylvania. You know, the ones all dolled up and smilin’ pretty.
So, this Miss Pennsylvania thing, it happened in 2024. They had this big show, like, a real big to-do. I heard tell it was at some fancy place called the Appell Center, in a town called York. Sounds right fancy, don’t it? Heard they gave the winner a whole bunch of money, like, twelve thousand dollars! That’s enough to buy a whole lotta chickens!
Now, last year, in 2023, a girl named Miranda Moore, she won. Pretty little thing, I bet. But this year, 2024, it was a whole different story. This year, it was a girl named Page Weinstein. Yep, Page Weinstein. She was Miss Greater Pittsburgh before, so she knows a thing or two about lookin’ good and talkin’ sweet.
They had all sorts of girls there. You know, runners-up and all that. I heard about one, Abby Traxler, Miss Central Pennsylvania, she almost won. And another one, Victoria Vespico, she was pretty close too. They all wore them fancy dresses, you know, the sparkly ones that shine like a new tractor in the sun.

Now, I don’t know much about these pageants. Seems like a lot of fuss to me. But these girls, they work hard, I reckon. They gotta practice walkin’ all pretty and talkin’ all proper. And them dresses, they probably cost a pretty penny. More than my old mule, that’s for sure!
I saw some pictures on that… whatchamacallit… Insta-thingy? Yeah, Instagram. Miss Pennsylvania’s got their own page there. Lots of pictures of smiling girls and fancy dresses. They got, like, thousands of folks followin’ them. Shows you how many people like to look at pretty things, I guess. They post all sorts of stuff. You know, pictures from the pageant, and pictures of the girls doin’ stuff in their towns. It’s kinda like lookin’ at a picture book, but on that phone thingy.
This whole Miss Pennsylvania thing, it’s a big deal, I guess. They even got it on TV, or on some kinda internet channel thing. PageantVision, they call it. You can watch all the old pageants, too, if you want. Seems like folks been doin’ this for a long time. All the way back to the 2010s, they said.
So, Page Weinstein, she’s the big winner this year. Miss Pennsylvania 2024. Good for her, I say. Hope she uses that money for somethin’ good. Maybe buy herself a nice farm, raise some chickens. That’s what I’d do, anyhow.
So, to recap, the J. William Warehime Foundation presented Page Weinstein, Miss Greater Pittsburgh, as Miss Pennsylvania 2024. And Miranda Moore, she won last year.
