Is July a Good Time to Visit Belize? Check the Weather

Alright, let’s talk about this Belize weather in July, ya hear? I ain’t no fancy weather lady, but I can tell ya what it’s like, plain and simple.

So, July in Belize, it’s gonna be hot, real hot. Like, 86 degrees hot during the day, maybe even hotter, they say it can get up to 89, even 90! Can you imagine? Makes you sweat just thinkin’ about it. And at night, it don’t cool down much, still around 79, maybe 80. So you best be ready for that heat, no matter what you doin’. Bring your thin clothes, the ones that let the air get through. You know, like those airy cotton shirts, the ones you get at the market. Those are good.

Now, they say July’s the wettest month. Wettest! That means rain, lots of it. More than any other time of the year, they say. It’ll rain cats and dogs. I ain’t talkin’ ’bout no little sprinkles neither. I’m talkin’ real downpours, the kind that soak you to the bone in seconds. Sometimes it rains in the mornin’, just a quick shower. But sometimes it rains all night long, thunder and lightnin’ and all. So you best bring an umbrella, or a rain jacket, or somethin’ to keep you dry. And don’t be surprised if it rains for a few days straight, it happens. They call them storms, and boy, they can stick around.

  • Lots of rain, they say it’s the wettest
  • Hot weather, day and night
  • Maybe some big storms

But don’t let the rain scare you off, though. It ain’t rainin’ all the time. There’s still plenty of sunshine, they say. You just gotta be ready for when the rain comes. And even when it’s rainin’, it ain’t cold. It’s still warm, just wet. So you won’t freeze to death or nothin’.

They also say July is a good time to visit because it ain’t too crowded. You know, like them other months when everyone and their grandma goes to Belize. In July, you might get a good deal on a place to stay, and the restaurants and bars won’t be packed. That sounds nice, don’t it? Less people pushin’ and shovin’, more room for you to enjoy yourself.

And get this, they got festivals in July! Big ones, they say. I don’t know what kind of festivals, but they say they’re fun. So if you go in July, you might get to see some music, some dancin’, maybe eat some good food. Sounds like a good time to me, rain or shine.

So, let’s sum it up. Belize in July? Hot. Wet. Maybe some storms. But also, maybe some good deals, not too crowded, and some festivals. If you don’t mind the heat and the rain, it might be a good time to go. Just be prepared, that’s all. Bring your umbrella, bring your sunscreen, and bring your dancin’ shoes. You might need ’em all.

Now, I ain’t been to Belize myself, but that’s what I hear. And I reckon it’s pretty accurate. Folks don’t usually lie about the weather, ‘specially when it comes to rain. So you take it for what it’s worth, and you decide if Belize in July is right for you. Me? I’ll stick to my porch swing, where it’s nice and dry, thank you very much.

Oh, and one more thing. They say the average temperature in Belize city stays around 88 in July. So if you are going to the city, expect it hot, hot hot. And another thing they say the sky is cloudy most of the time. So don’t expect to see too much blue sky, probably mostly grey.

But still, even with all that rain, they still say it is good time to go. You can still do all the outside stuff, like swimming and seeing the sights. You just need to be ready for the rain. Bring your raincoat and your boots and you’ll be fine. Don’t let a little water stop you from having a good time.
