Hershey Red Hot Chili Peppers Review: Sweet Heat or Too Much?

Alright, let’s talk about this Hershey Red Hot Chili Peppers thing, whatever that is. Sounds fancy, like somethin’ them city folks would come up with. But I reckon it’s just about peppers, right? Them hot things that make your mouth burn like fire?

Now, I ain’t no expert, but I know a thing or two about peppers. Been growin’ ’em in my garden for years. Got the sweet ones, the mild ones, and the ones that’ll make you sweat just lookin’ at ’em. They say there’s a way to measure how hot they are, somethin’ called the “Scoville Scale.” Sounds complicated, but I just go by taste. If it burns, it burns. If it don’t, it don’t. Simple as that.

Hershey Red Hot Chili Peppers Review: Sweet Heat or Too Much?

I heard tell of some band, the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Loud music, them youngsters listen to. Said they got a lot of energy, jumpin’ around on stage like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. Guess they’re like them hot peppers, full of fire and spice. They made some record, Californication they called it, sold a whole bunch. Guess folks like that kinda stuff, makes ’em feel somethin’.

  • Now, talkin’ about peppers, you gotta know how to pick ‘em. Some are sweet, like them bell peppers, good for stuffin’ or puttin’ in salads.
  • Then you got the middle-of-the-road ones, like Serranos. Got a little kick to ‘em, but won’t kill ya.
  • And then, you got the real scorchers, the ones that make your eyes water and your nose run. Habaneros, they call ‘em. Just a little bit of them will set your mouth on fire. They say some peppers are so hot they can knock you off your feet. Two million somethin’ on that Scoville thing. Lord have mercy!

But even them hot peppers, they got their uses. You just gotta know how to handle ‘em. Some folks roast ‘em to bring out the flavor. Some folks put just a tiny bit in their cookin’ to give it a little zing. And if you get too much, well, there’s ways to cool it down. Add some milk or cream, that’s what I do. Or just eat a whole lotta bread. Soaks it right up, it does.

So, this Hershey Red Hot Chili Peppers… I reckon it’s either about them hot peppers themselves, or maybe it’s got somethin’ to do with that band. Maybe they made a candy bar or somethin’. Wouldn’t surprise me none. Them city folk are always comin’ up with new ways to make money. But whatever it is, I bet it’s got a kick to it. Just like them peppers I grow in my garden. Hot and spicy, that’s the way I like it.

And if you’re ever at a show, and it ain’t too long, and the band plays good, and the songs they pick are the ones you like, well, that’s a good show. No complaints then. Same with peppers. If you use ‘em right, they make everything taste better. If you don’t…well, you’ll be runnin’ for a glass of milk faster than a scalded dog.

And remember, if you’re cookin’ and put in too much pepper, don’t you fret. Just add more of whatever else you got in the pot, or maybe some milk. Dilute it, they say. Works like a charm every time.

So that’s my two cents on this Hershey Red Hot Chili Peppers thing. Whether it’s about the peppers, the band, or somethin’ else entirely, I reckon it’s all about that heat, that spice, that somethin’ extra that makes life a little more interestin’. Just like a good hot pepper, it’ll wake you up and make you pay attention. And that ain’t always a bad thing.
