Alright, listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about this weather thing, the one for August 18th, 2024, or maybe even 2025, who knows for sure? These weather folks, they like to look ahead, so we gotta be prepared, right?
Now, I hear tell some places gonna be hotter than a pepper sprout in July. Like this Korea place, they sayin’ it’s gonna be sticky and hot, close to 30 degrees, whatever that means in real talk. Sounds like you’d be sweatin’ like a hog, that’s for sure. And they got rain too, lots of it, so you best be carryin’ an umbrella, or you’ll be soaked to the bone.
Then there’s this Sal place, some island, I reckon. They got it a bit cooler, maybe 29 degrees in the daytime, but still warm at night. They say you need that air thingy, the one that blows cold air, to sleep good. The water’s warm too, like bathwater, and it’s sunny, but not all day long. A little bit of rain there too, but not too much.
And get this, some places, like this Ludhiana, Lord knows where that is, it’s gonna be even hotter, like 34 degrees! That’s fryin’ eggs on the sidewalk weather, I tell ya. You better be drinkin’ plenty of water if you’re gonna be out in that heat.
Now, closer to home, they talkin’ about Fort Mill, South Carolina. They got all sorts of fancy words for it, like “mostly cloudy” and “slight risk of severe thunderstorms.” Sounds like it could go either way, you know? Could be a nice day, could be a real gully washer. They sayin’ the wind might pick up a bit too, comin’ from the southwest.
This morning, they sayin’ it’ll feel alright, not too hot, not too cold, just right for sittin’ on the porch with a glass of sweet tea. But later on, who knows? Could be rain, could be thunder, could be nothin’ at all. That’s what them weather guessers are for. They keep changing their mind anyway.
- Hot weather in some places, real hot, like Korea and Ludhiana.
- Rain in some places, lots of it, like Korea and maybe Fort Mill.
- Warm water in some places, like Sal.
- Windy in some places, maybe Fort Mill.
- Could be thunderstorms, maybe in Fort Mill, so you best be keepin’ an eye on the sky.
So, there you have it. That’s the weather story, or leastways what they’re sayin’ now. But you know how it is, weather can change faster than a chicken can peck a bug. So, you best be prepared for anything, hot, cold, rain, shine, whatever the good Lord sends our way.
And don’t you be forgettin’, they got these weather folks lookin’ ahead for days and days. They talkin’ ‘bout severe weather chances and all that, but I don’t pay that much mind. You just gotta look outside and see what’s comin’ yourself, that’s the best way to know, ain’t it?
Anyway, that’s the weather for August 18th, or thereabouts. Hope you stay dry, stay cool, and stay safe, y’hear?
Remember, I ain’t no fancy weather lady, just tellin’ it like I see it, or like I hear it from them weather folks on the TV and that radio thingy. So, take it with a grain of salt, and don’t blame me if it rains on your parade, alright?
