Well, howdy there, y’all! Let me tell ya ’bout this thing, this… what’s it called? ATX Rock Revival, yeah, that’s it. Sounds fancy, don’t it? But don’t you go thinkin’ it’s some highfalutin city slicker stuff. Nope, it’s just good ol’ music, the kind that makes you wanna tap your feet and maybe even shake your… well, you know.
So, this here ATX Rock Revival, it’s gonna be happenin’ on Saturday, May 4th. Mark your calendars, folks, ’cause it sounds like a real hootenanny. They got all sorts of singers and bands. There’s this fella, Bob Schneider, and some others, Del Castillo, Monte Montgomery, Patrice Pike, Kelly Willis… I ain’t heard of all of ’em, but they say they’re good. Real good.
- Bob Schneider – Heard he’s a smooth talker with a guitar, sings them songs that make you think ’bout life and stuff.
- Del Castillo – These folks, they play that kinda music that makes you wanna dance, even if you got two left feet like me.
- Monte Montgomery – They say he can make that guitar sing like an angel, or maybe a devil, depends on the song I reckon.
- Patrice Pike – A lady with a voice as strong as a cup of coffee, she’ll wake you up and make you feel alive.
- Kelly Willis– Folks say she’s got a voice sweeter than honey. I bet she sings purty.
They’re gonna be playin’ at this place called Round Rock Amp. Sounds big, don’t it? It’s in Round Rock, Texas, on some street called North IH-35, number 3701. I ain’t never been there, but I bet it’s easy enough to find. Just follow the music, right?
Now, they’re sellin’ tickets for this here ATX Rock Revival. You gotta buy ’em if you wanna go, that’s how these things work. I heard you can get ’em online, or maybe at the place itself. They got all sorts of prices, dependin’ on where you wanna sit or stand. And if you’re feelin’ fancy, you can even get one of them VIP packages. Don’t know what that is, but it sounds important.
This ATX Rock Revival, it’s a big deal, ya hear? Folks from all over are comin’ to see these singers and bands. They say it’s gonna be a real party, a celebration of music and good times. And ain’t that what life’s all about? Work hard, play hard, and listen to some good music while you’re at it.
