Drake at PSU Aftermath and Reactions (How Penn State is Buzzing After the Show)

That fella Drake, he come to that Penn State place, you know, that big school place. He singin’ and jumpin’ around, makin’ all them young folks go wild. March 31, that’s the day he come, they say it’s some big tour, “It’s All A Blur” or somethin’ like that. Sounds like he needs some glasses if everything is a blur, I tell ya.

They got this place called Bryce Jordan Center, that’s where he was, all lit up and loud. My grandson, he goes to that school, he told me all about it. Said it was packed, folks singin’ along to all them songs. He likes that Drake fella, seems like all the young ones do.

Last time Drake was there was long time ago, like 2011. Time sure flies, I remember when I was young. Now I’m just an old woman, seein’ all these young folks havin’ fun. They even changed the date, it was supposed to be March 18, but they moved it to 31st, I don’t know why they do that, always changin’ things around.

This school, Penn State, they always doin’ somethin’. They got that football team, they’re always playin’ and yellin’. They sing some songs too, “Sweet Caroline” and another one, “Mo Bamba”. Sounds like a party all the time over there. My grandson, he tells me all about it, says it’s a real hootenanny.

  • Drake came to Penn State
  • Sang at Bryce Jordan Center
  • It was March 31
  • Part of his “It’s All A Blur” tour
  • Lots of young folks there

These kids today, they got it good. Back in my day, we didn’t have no fancy concerts like this. We had barn dances, that’s what we had. And we liked it! This Drake fella, he’s a big deal, I guess. All the kids talkin’ about him. They call him a rapper. He talks real fast in his songs. My ears can’t keep up.

This concert, it was a big deal for them Penn State folks. They were all excited, sellin’ tickets and everything. I saw it on the news, they were interviewin’ all them students, grinnin’ from ear to ear. Good for them, I say. Let them have their fun. Life’s too short to be grumpy all the time.

They even had another singer there, Lil Wayne. That’s what they call him. Another young fella, singin’ and dancin’. The kids sure do love their music these days. It’s all different from what I used to listen to, but hey, to each their own, right?

That Bryce Jordan Center, it’s a big place. Holds a lot of people. They have all sorts of things there, not just concerts. Basketball games, I think. My grandson, he goes to some of them games. Says it’s real loud and exciting. Too much excitement for me, I prefer peace and quiet.

  • Concert was a big deal
  • Lil Wayne was also there
  • Bryce Jordan Center is a big place
  • They have other events there too

This whole thing, it just reminds me how time flies. One minute you’re young, the next you’re old like me, watchin’ the world go by. These kids at Penn State, they’re makin’ memories. Good memories, I hope. That Drake concert, it’ll be somethin’ they remember for a long time, I reckon.

I don’t know much about this Drake fella, but he sure seems to make people happy. And that’s what matters, right? Spreadin’ a little joy around. We could all use a little more of that these days. Especially in this old, crazy world. The tickets are cheap for students. It’s good.

Well, I reckon that’s all I got to say about that Drake concert at Penn State. Just a bunch of young folks havin’ a good time. Nothin’ wrong with that. Nothin’ wrong with that at all. It’s their time to shine, just like we had our time back in the day. And that’s the way it should be. The circle of life, you know. It keeps on turnin’.
