Well, well, well, look at the date. October 12, 2023. Time sure does fly, don’t it? I remember back when October used to be real cold, you know? Now, it ain’t so bad. This old body remembers the weather like the back of my hand, though these days, my hand’s got more wrinkles than a prune.
So, October 12, 2023, huh? That day, it was kinda sunny, kinda not. We call that partly sunny. The high was up to 77, I reckon. Not too shabby. And that wind, whoo, blowin’ from the south at 24 mph. That’s enough to mess up your hair, let me tell ya! Nighttime, it got cloudy, and the temperature went down to, what was it? 59? Yeah, 59. That’s chilly enough to need a blanket.
Now, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout “highs” and “lows” and some lines, and I don’t know what all that fancy talk is. But I know this, weather’s like a moody teenager, always changin’. One minute it’s sunny, next it’s rainin’ cats and dogs. Weather October 12 2023 was just one of them days, nothin’ special.

I saw on the news, in New York City, it was 46 degrees with rain and fog. Then all the way to the end of the month, it was clear. New York weather is almost as crazy as the weather here. One day it’s rainin’, the next it’s clear as a bell. They say they got all this data, shows the weather from the past. Fancy stuff, I guess. October weather history, they call it.
Out in a place called Hawthorne, it was 58 degrees and clear on October 12. Same kinda weather all the way through the end of the month, they say. Seems like a nice place, weather-wise. Then in Dallas, they also have this weather history stuff for October 2023 weather. I reckon folks like to keep track of these things.
Now, they’re sayin’ the October weather forecast is gettin’ warmer. Up in the north and east parts of the country, they say it’s gonna be warmer than usual. Well, that’s somethin’, ain’t it? Weather’s always full of surprises.
Then someone was tellin me about Korea. Their leaves is all pretty colors in the fall, from September to November. They say it is between 19 and 8 degrees. They have mountains and parks. Pretty, but too far for me. Fall is nice there they say, not too hot, not too cold. Just right for me. They get pretty leaves first at some mountain, Seoraksan Mountain, I think they called it. Starts September 29, they say. October 2023 is surely a good time to visit, I bet, even if I won’t.
All this talk about weather. It’s important, I reckon. Helps you know what to wear, whether to plant your crops, or just stay inside with a cup of somethin’ warm. October 12 2023 weather, it was just another day, but every day’s got its own weather story, don’t it?
This October weather, it’s been a mixed bag, that’s for sure. Some days warm, some days cool. Just gotta take it as it comes, I guess. That’s all you can do with the weather. Just like life, you gotta roll with the punches, rain or shine.
