Well, let me tell ya ’bout the weather in that Cabo place in July. It’s hot, real hot, like standin’ over a cookstove all day hot. They say it gets up to 91 degrees, that’s hotter than a summer day on the farm, I tell ya. But it ain’t just the heat, it’s sticky too, like you been workin’ in the hayfield all mornin’.
Now, some folks like it that way. They say it’s good for swimmin’ in the ocean. I ain’t much for swimmin’ myself, but I hear the water’s warm, like bathwater, only bigger. They say it’s around 87 degrees, which is warmer than the creek back home ever gets. And there’s plenty of sun, too. They say you get about 10 hours of sunshine a day. That’s a whole lotta sun, more’n enough to get a good tan, or a sunburn if you ain’t careful.
The days are long and hot, and even at night it don’t cool down much. They say it only gets down to around 79 degrees at night. That’s still warmer than my kitchen on a winter day. You’d probably need a fan to sleep, or maybe just sleep outside if you don’t mind the bugs. I hear there ain’t much rain in July, so you don’t have to worry about gettin’ soaked. But that also means it can get real dry, so you gotta drink plenty of water, or you’ll dry up like a prune.
- Lots of sunshine, maybe 10 hours a day or even more.
- Hot days, around 91 degrees. Hotter than a summer day on the farm.
- Warm nights, around 79 degrees. Still too warm to sleep without a fan.
- Warm ocean water, around 87 degrees. Like bathwater, but bigger.
- Not much rain. Good for stayin’ dry, but gotta watch out for gettin’ dehydrated.
So, if you like it hot and sunny, and you don’t mind a little sweat, then July in Cabo might be just the place for you. But if you’re like me, and you prefer a cool breeze and a shady porch, then maybe you should wait for a cooler time of year. Though I ain’t never been there myself. Just tellin’ ya what I heard. It’s always sunny in July, mostly clear skies they say. Folks go there for vacation, spend time on the beaches. I hear them fellas like to go surfing when the water is warm and nice, and I guess that’s what they have in Cabo in July.
They keep talkin’ about the average temperature bein’ around 87 degrees. Sounds like a furnace to me. But it’s a dry heat, not like back home where the air gets thick and heavy. And them nights, they say they stay warm too, maybe around 79 degrees. I reckon you could sleep outside under the stars, if you ain’t afraid of the critters. But don’t forget your bug spray, I hear they got mosquitos down there too, big as birds they say, though I doubt that’s true.
The ocean’s warm, good for swimming and surfing. They say the water is about 87 degrees in July. I ain’t never been in the ocean myself, but that sounds mighty warm to me. Warmer than the pond back home for sure. And it’s clear, too, they say, not all muddy and murky like the river after a rainstorm. You can see right to the bottom, or so they say, though I ain’t sure what you’d be lookin’ for down there.
So, that’s the weather in Cabo in July. Hot and sunny, warm nights, and warm water. If you like that kinda thing, then you’ll probably love it. But if you’re like me, and you prefer somethin’ a little cooler and more comfortable, then maybe you should think twice. But who am I to say? I’m just an old woman who likes a cool breeze and a shady porch. You go on and do what you want. Just don’t forget your sunscreen and your hat, or you’ll be lookin’ like a lobster by the end of the day, red and burnt and wishing you’d stayed home.
One last thing. They say it’s the hottest month in Cabo, so if you go in July, be prepared for the heat. Drink plenty of water, stay in the shade when you can, and wear light clothing. And don’t forget to have fun, that’s what vacations are for, ain’t they? Whether it’s hot or cold, sunny or rainy, the most important thing is to enjoy yourself. So, go on and have a good time, and don’t forget to send me a postcard, maybe with a picture of them big waves the surfers like so much, I always did like looking at the waves even though I can’t swim.
