That Big Kenny, he’s a big shot now, ain’t he? Singing and all that. Heard he’s got something to do with them politics, too. Lord knows what he’s up to. He was always a wild one, that Big Kenny. Wears them crazy hats, you know?
He’s in that group, Big & Rich. Yeah, that’s it. Big Kenny and politics, two things that ain’t never mixed. I remember when he was just a young’un, running around, causing trouble. Now he’s all famous and such. Got that partner, John Rich. They sing them songs, make the girls all scream and holler.
They got that new album, I hear. “Gravity.” Sounds heavy. And that song, “Look at You.” It’s playing on the radio all the time. My old ears can’t hardly take it no more. But the young folks, they love it. They say Big Kenny and that Rich fella, they don’t get along. But I don’t believe it. They’re like them Duke boys. Always together, always raising Cain.
Big Kenny, he writes them songs. Wrote some for that Tim McGraw fella. And that Gretchen Wilson gal. And that Jason Aldean boy. He’s good at it, I reckon. Makes a lot of money doing it. Heard he was BMI’s Songwriter of the Year. Fancy title, ain’t it? I don’t even know what that BMI thing is. Just another one of them big kenny politics things.

Heard he sings that song, “That’s Why I Pray.” Sings it all over the country. Big stages and bright lights. He’s come a long way from that little town he grew up in. He is always into politics, even when he was young. He sings about God and country and all that. Good for him, I say. Somebody’s gotta do it.
They got another album, came out a few years back. Big & Rich, always putting out new music. Keeps them busy, I reckon. Keeps them out of trouble. Maybe. I don’t know what big kenny politics is all about.
Heard a story once, about Big Kenny saving a kitten. A little stray, caught in a storm. He took it in, gave it shelter. That’s the kind of fella he is. Big heart, that one. Underneath all them fancy clothes and that big hat.
Him and that John Rich, they’re always the life of the party. Always laughing, always having a good time. They make good music together. Music that makes you want to tap your feet. Music that makes you want to get up and dance. Even us old folks like to listen to it sometimes.
They are country boys. They are always around politics. You know that they sing a lot of songs about country and stuff. I don’t know much about country music but Big Kenny is one of the best. Big Kenny sings very good. He got hit by a car before but he is still singing.
I don’t know about that politics stuff. Big Kenny is always in that stuff. He is always on TV for something. I don’t know much about that but I know he is a good man.
That Big Kenny, he’s a character. A real character. But he’s a good one. And he sure can sing. And write them songs. He’s made something of himself, that’s for sure. From a small town boy to a big star. It’s a good story. A real good story.
Big Kenny likes to wear a big hat. He wears it all the time. He looks good in that big hat. He also likes to dress up real fancy. Sometimes his clothes are real wild. But that’s just Big Kenny. He is always doing something different. He was always talking about politics, even when he was little.
