This here Battle Creek Smoke football, you know, it’s something else. They got this football thing going on, and it’s a big deal, I reckon. It’s called arena football, ain’t like the regular football you see out in the open field. This one’s inside, in a big building they call an arena. Kinda like a big barn, but for sports.
They got some teams playing, I heard. One’s called the Battle Creek Smoke. Sounds tough, don’t it? Like a fire burning or something. They play against other teams, like that Ohio Blitz and the Southern Michigan Apex. And there’s another one, Chicago Power. Sounds like a bunch of strong fellas, if you ask me. It’s a whole ten dollars to watch. That is not much for such fun, I suppose.
I heard it’s coming up soon, this football game. April 8th, I think I heard someone say. They’re playing at the Kellogg Arena. That’s a big place, I’ve heard. Good for a lot of folks to watch. They got two games that day, one in the afternoon, one in the evening.
You can get tickets, you know. Not too expensive, I reckon. Just ten dollars. That’s not too bad to see some good football. And they play fast in that arena, I hear. Lots of action, lots of running and throwing. Keeps you on the edge of your seat, they say.

They got this thing called Great Lakes Arena Football. That’s where all these teams play. They say it’s thrilling. Means exciting, you know. Lots of good plays and all that. I don’t know all the rules, but it sounds like fun. It’s some kind of professional arena football, they call it.
And if you like this Battle Creek Smoke football, you can join some kind of online group, I guess. Then you get to buy tickets faster. That’s what they say, anyway. They got a website and all that fancy stuff. I don’t know much about that, but the young folks do. If you wanna get some tickets, you just gotta know someone who knows about the internet, and you are in for a good time for ten dollars.
They got tryouts too, you know. For folks who wanna play. Gotta sign up and all that. I think it costs money to try out. Thirty dollars, maybe? I don’t know for sure. But if you’re good at football, maybe you can play for the Battle Creek Smoke. That’d be something, wouldn’t it?
This arena football, it’s a whole different thing. It is played indoor, and it is fast and fun. They got their own league and everything. It’s like a whole different world of football. Not like the old days, that’s for sure. But it’s good to see folks having fun and playing sports. Keeps them out of trouble, I reckon. And it is sure fun to watch, I bet. They say they have good seats, too. You can see everything real good.
This Battle Creek Smoke football team, they seem to be doing alright. They got fans and everything. Folks go to their games and cheer them on. It’s a good thing for the town, I suppose. Brings people together and all that. And it’s good for the young folks, gives them something to do. Ten dollars to get in is not that bad. You should go there and watch.
So if you’re looking for something to do, and you like football, maybe you should check out this arena football. It’s a good time, I hear. And it’s not too expensive. Ten dollars is not much to pay for a good show. Just make sure you go to that Kellogg Arena on April 8th. And cheer for the Battle Creek Smoke. They’re the home team, you know. They need all the support they can get, I bet. They play at 7:30pm, don’t be late. I think the other game, that Ohio Blitz and Southern Michigan Apex, they play at 1:00pm. You can watch both for ten dollars!
Anyway, you should go and have fun. It’s gonna be a good time, lots of folks yelling, having a good time. They got food and drinks, I suppose. Like any other game. Makes a good night out. I don’t know much else about this football game, but it sounds like a good time.
