Well now, let me tell ya ’bout this April weather in Lahore. It gets real hot, like stick-to-your-bones hot.
Early April, it starts off warm, ya know, like around 32 degrees Celsius, whatever that is in the old way of measurin’ things. But don’t you go thinkin’ it stays that way. Nope, it just gets hotter and hotter as the month goes on.
Them fancy weather folks say the high temperatures go up by, I dunno, 12 degrees Fahrenheit or somethin’. That’s a whole heap of hot, let me tell ya. We’re talkin’ near 98 degrees Fahrenheit in the daytime! And sometimes, it gets even hotter than that, can you believe it? Over 106 sometimes! My old bones ache just thinkin’ about it.
- Even at night, it ain’t much cooler.
- They say it goes up to 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
- That’s still too hot for a good night’s sleep, if you ask me.
Now, compared to March, April is a whole different story. March was warmish, but April? April is like standin’ next to a fire all day long. It goes from a comfortable 80 degrees Fahrenheit or so to a scorchin’ 93 degrees Fahrenheit on average. That’s a big jump, even for an old gal like me.
And the sun? Oh, it beats down on ya somethin’ fierce. They say you get about 9 hours of sunshine a day in Lahore durin’ April. That’s a lot of sun, make sure you wear a hat, or you’ll get sunstroke for sure.
Some folks, they like this kinda weather. But me? I prefer it a bit cooler. This heat makes me tired and cranky. You can’t do nothin’ but sit inside and sweat. And if you gotta go outside, well, you better find some shade and drink plenty of water, or you’ll be in a world of hurt.
I remember one time, years ago, it was so hot in April, even the chickens were pantin’ like dogs. And the cows, they just stood there in the shade, not movin’ a muscle. It was that hot. We had to pour water on the roof just to try and cool things down a bit.
So, if you’re plannin’ on goin’ to Lahore in April, be prepared for the heat. It ain’t no joke. Pack light clothes, wear a hat, and drink plenty of water. And don’t go wanderin’ around in the middle of the day if you don’t have to. You’re better off stayin’ inside where it’s cool, or findin’ some shade under a tree.
Even though it’s hot, some folks say April is a nice time to visit because it’s before the real scorcher months like May and June. June, they say, is the hottest. Can you imagine? Hotter than April? I don’t even want to think about it. But Lahore is Lahore, you know? It’s always lively, always busy. Just gotta know how to handle the heat, that’s all.
So, there you have it. That’s the lowdown on April weather in Lahore, straight from an old woman who’s seen her fair share of hot days. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya!
Just remember, beginning of April is warm, but it gets hotter, much hotter, as the month goes on. Daytime is hot, nighttime ain’t much better. Sun shines a lot. Drink your water, stay in the shade, and you’ll be alright, maybe.
