Well, let me tell ya, heard about another one of them things on Highway 71. Yep, another accident. Seems like it’s always somethin’ on that road. Cars crashin’, folks gettin’ hurt. Never ends.
This time, they say someone died. Dead! Just like that. Gone. Poor soul. And someone else got hurt real bad. Don’t know all the details, they never tell ya everything, but it’s a mess, that’s for sure.
- Heard it was a hit and run. Imagine that! Someone just leavin’ another person lyin’ there. What kind of person does that? Heartless, I tell ya.
- Then they say some folks ran off on foot. Ran off! Guilty conscience, probably. Didn’t want to face what they done. Cowards.
And it ain’t the first time, you know. Heard ’bout another one just the other day. Two folks died then. And another time, three people gone! Highway 71, it’s cursed, I swear. Always takin’ people.
One time they said a big truck flipped over. A big ol’ truck, just like that. Musta been somethin’ fierce. Closed the whole road down. Folks stuck in traffic for hours, I bet. Nothin’ but a headache.
Don’t know why it happens so much on that road. Maybe people drive too fast. Maybe they ain’t payin’ attention. Always lookin’ at their phones or somethin’. Don’t know. But it’s scary.
You gotta be careful out there, ya know. Never know what’s gonna happen. One minute you’re drivin’ along, mindin’ your own business, and the next…bam! Life changes just like that.
Hope they catch whoever did it, the ones that ran off. They gotta pay for what they done. Can’t just go around hurtin’ people and gettin’ away with it. It ain’t right.
Prayers go out to the families, the ones who lost someone. Can’t imagine what they’re goin’ through. Nothin’ worse than losin’ a loved one. Especially like that, all sudden and unexpected.
Highway 71…it’s a dangerous place, that’s for sure. Gotta keep your eyes peeled, watch out for the other fella. You just never know what’s gonna happen next.
