Well, if you’re thinkin’ about headin’ over to Bermuda and want to know what the weather’s gonna be like, I can tell ya what I’ve heard. Now, mind you, Bermuda don’t have no rainy season like some places. Ain’t no big, long wet stretches you gotta worry about. You won’t be seein’ folks grumblin’ much about rain neither, cause they’ve figured out how to make use of it. They catch it on them white slate roofs, with pipes runnin’ down to underground tanks where they store it up for drinkin’ water. Smart, ain’t it?
Now, I gotta tell ya, Bermuda’s weather is somethin’ special. It’s not like the Caribbean with all them storms blowin’ through. Even though it’s way up north of that, nearly a thousand miles, Bermuda stays safe from snow, frost, and ice all year round. You won’t see a snowflake fallin’ here, not even in the coldest of winters. This is all thanks to that warm Gulf Stream water that just happens to pass by real close. It keeps the whole place nice and toasty, no matter the season.
If you’re lookin’ for the hottest month in Bermuda, that would be August. It’s when the air’s about 28°C, which is around 82°F. That’s when folks are probably jumpin’ into the sea for a swim. The water’s nice and warm too, sittin’ at about 29°C (84°F). But, if you’re thinkin’ of visitin’ during the colder times, February’s the month to reckon with. The air is cooler, sittin’ around 21°C or 70°F, but it’s still warmer than most places up north where folks be bundled up in winter coats.
One thing that might get to ya is the rain in October. Now, October’s the wettest month, with around 200mm of rain on average. But don’t go thinkin’ it’s all rainy and miserable. It don’t rain the whole time. A good bit of it comes in spurts. Showers early in the day, then clearin’ up later, but still a bit cloudy. So, don’t go forgettin’ your umbrella, but don’t expect it to be all wet either.
As for the 20-day forecast, well, the weather here can change a bit. Some days are clear and calm, and others, the wind can really pick up. The winds can come from the northwest, blowin’ at 10 to 20 miles per hour, which makes it a good place for wind sports. Now, for them who like the weather warm, Bermuda stays steady for the most part. But, like anywhere else, there’s the occasional stormy spell. The weather can get a little windy, with scattered showers now and then, especially in the evenings. A thunderstorm might pop up here and there too, but they ain’t too bad compared to what folks get in other places.
So, if you’re plannin’ to head to Bermuda anytime soon, don’t go worryin’ too much about what the weather’s gonna do. You’ll get a little bit of everything: sunshine, showers, and those warm ocean breezes. It’s not as wild as some places, but it’s always a good idea to check the weather before you pack.
