They offer baseball and softball programs for all the boys and girls in the Boerne area. From what I hear, they even got some good sponsors helpin’ out. Ain’t that somethin’? A lotta them sponsors put their money where their mouth is, and that’s how the kids get to play ball, get their gear, and even have a bit of fun now and then.
Now, let’s talk about the boys, the ones who made it all the way to the Little League World Series. That right there is a big ol’ accomplishment, if you ask me! Every practice, every game, it’s about gettin’ better, doin’ your best, and representin’ your town. And when they made it to the final rounds in Williamsport, I could see the pride on their faces. Even when they lost to Venezuela in the final game, they held their heads high. They finished fourth in the whole world. Now that’s an achievement if I ever saw one!
The kids on the Boerne team are some fine young athletes. You got Gray Collins, Aiden Munoz, Kaleb Christ, and Dylan Burke all up front, and then there’s Cooper Hastings, Gage Steubing, Kole Newson, Jett Matthews, and Doc Mogford roundin’ out the second row. And don’t forget Caden Guffey, Julian Hurst, and Ben Burkhart in the back. Each one of ’em plays their part, workin’ together like a well-oiled machine. I tell ya, they’ve got a bright future ahead if they keep at it.
Now, when it comes to the Little League Baseball Division, or as some folks call it, the Major Division, that’s for kids aged 10 to 12. That’s the age when they’re really startin’ to show their skills, and the Boerne boys, they sure showed theirs. What a sight to see all that hard work pay off in front of a big ol’ crowd!
