Oh, Lordy, what a mess on 281 today!
Heard tell there was a real bad accident, cars all smashed up like tin cans. Don’t know all the details, mind you, just what folks are whisperin’ ‘bout. Some say it happened early in the mornin’, others say it was later. Time don’t matter much when somethin’ like this happens, I reckon. It’s always a sad day when folks get hurt or worse.
This 281 highway, it’s a busy one, cars and trucks whizzin’ by all day and night. Sometimes, I swear, them drivers act like they got a fire under their behinds, speedin’ and swervin’ like they own the road. It ain’t right, I tell ya.
