Walmart Black Friday 2014 Ad: What You Need to Know

Alright, listen up, y’all! Let me tell ya ’bout this here Walmart Black Friday thingy back in 2014. Folks were goin’ hog wild for them deals, I tell ya!

So, this here Walmart, they started their sales on Thanksgiving Day, can you believe it? Six o’clock in the evenin’, they opened them doors. Said they had some “doorbusters” – whatever them things are. Then, they did it again at eight o’clock! Two times in one night! Crazy, right?

I heard tell they had some kinda fancy game box, a “Micro-somethin’ Xbox One.” Came with some shootin’ game, “Assassin’s Creed” they called it. And a bunch of other stuff, too. Folks were linin’ up for hours, just to get their hands on that thing.

  • They had TVs, big ones, little ones, all kinds.
  • And them kitchen things, mixers and toasters and such.
  • Clothes, too! Piles and piles of clothes. For the young’uns, for the old folks, for everyone!

Now, they had this here “guarantee” thing. Said if they ran outta somethin’, you’d get a little ticket and come back later. But, shoot, I heard some folks still didn’t get what they wanted. That’s the way it always goes, don’t it?

This here Walmart, they put out an “ad,” a picture paper, showin’ all the stuff they were sellin’. People were snatchin’ them up faster than a chicken grabs a bug! They had them ads everywhere, online, in the newspapers, everywhere you looked!

And lemme tell ya, it wasn’t just one day of sales. They had different times, different deals. Made it hard to keep track, I tell ya! Six o’clock on Thursday, eight o’clock on Thursday, and then again on Friday. My head was spinnin’ tryin’ to figure it all out!

I remember hearin’ about some TV stars bein’ in Walmart commercials ’round that time. Talkin’ ’bout “Deals of Desire,” somethin’ like that. Guess they were tryin’ to get folks all worked up to spend their money. And it worked, let me tell ya! People were buyin’ stuff they didn’t even need, just ’cause it was on sale.

Now, some stores, they opened up real early on Black Friday, like at midnight or somethin’ crazy. But Walmart, they just kept their regular hours. Six in the mornin’ to eleven at night. Nothin’ fancy, just the same as always.

People were talkin’ ’bout them ads for weeks before Black Friday. Said they started showin’ up in October even. That’s way too early, if you ask me. But folks were plannin’ their shoppin’ trips months in advance. It was somethin’ else, I tell ya!

Anyway, that’s what I remember ’bout that 2014 Walmart Black Friday. It was a whole lotta fuss, a whole lotta people, and a whole lotta stuff bein’ bought and sold. Don’t know if it was worth all the trouble, but folks sure seemed to think so.

And you know what? Every year it’s the same thing. People rushin’ and pushin’, spendin’ money they probably don’t have. But hey, that’s their business, not mine. I’m just tellin’ ya what I saw.

So, if you’re thinkin’ ’bout goin’ to one of them Black Friday things, you better be prepared. It’s a wild ride, I tell ya! And don’t forget your shoppin’ list, or you’ll end up buyin’ a whole bunch of stuff you don’t need. Just like everyone else!
