Well, howdy there, y’all! Let’s jaw about the weather for them Dallas Cowboys games, ya hear? ‘Cause, you know, it matters a heap when them boys are out there tossin’ the pigskin.
Now, I ain’t no fancy weather person, but I can tell ya, if it’s pourin’ rain or snowin’ like a banshee, them Cowboys gonna have a tough time. Mud everywhere, ball gets slippery, and nobody wants to be catchin’ a cold. Football weather, they call it. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it ain’t.
I heard tell there’s this place called *. They say they got all the weather info, updated all the time. Twice an hour, can ya believe it? Must be some smart folks workin’ there. They know if it’s gonna be sunny, rainy, windy, or whatever. That’s important, ya know? Helps them fellas decide what kinda shoes to wear and how to throw that ball.
- Sunny? Good for throwin’ long bombs.
- Rainy? Gotta hold on tight to that ball.
- Windy? Kicks get tricky, real tricky.
Them Cowboys, they been havin’ a rough go of it this year, bless their hearts. Heard they were 4-7 at one point. Playoff hopes hangin’ by a thread, they said. Land sakes, that ain’t good. Then there’s them Giants, sittin’ at 2-9. Sounds like a real barn burner when them two teams get together. But the weather, it can change everything. A little wind, a little rain, and the whole game turns upside down.
Now, I remember this one game, years ago. It was rainin’ cats and dogs. Couldn’t see nothin’! Them Cowboys, they were slippin’ and slidin’ all over the place. Lost the game, they did. Folks were grumbling, sayin’ the weather was rigged or somethin’. Silly, I say. Weather’s just weather. Ain’t nobody controllin’ it, ‘cept maybe the good Lord upstairs.
This year, they got a game on Thanksgiving Day against them Giants. Big game, ya know? Whole country watchin’. Heard it’s gonna be on FOX, 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. That’s somethin’ to mark on your calendar, ain’t it? But what about the weather? That’s what I wanna know!
I also heard tell ‘bout a game against the Houston Texans down in Arlington, Texas. They said the weather weren’t supposed to be no problem for that one. No rain, no nothin’. Just good ol’ Texas weather. That’s a relief, I tell ya. Nobody wants to see a good game ruined by a storm.
So, if you’re plannin’ on goin’ to a Cowboys game, or even just watchin’ it on the TV, keep an eye on that weather. It makes a bigger difference than you might think. And remember, them boys are out there tryin’ their best, rain or shine. So, cheer ’em on, loud and proud! Go Cowboys!
And don’t forget to check that * place. They seem to know their stuff. Twice an hour, they say! Land sakes, that’s a lot of weather reportin’. But hey, if it helps them Cowboys win, I’m all for it. Game day weather is serious business, ya hear?
Anyway, that’s all I got to say about the weather for them Cowboys games. Hope it helps ya out some. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some sweet tea. Y’all come back now, ya hear?
