Now, they’re callin’ this here tour the “Beautifully Broken” tour. Don’t rightly know what that means, but sounds fancy. He’s gonna be at the Bryce Jordan Center on October 1st. They sayin’ he’s got some other singers comin’ with him too. Warren Zeiders and Alexandra Kay, I think their names are. Never heard of ’em myself, but I reckon they must be pretty good if Jelly Roll’s bringin’ ’em along.
Now, I ain’t been to a concert in ages. Too much fuss and bother for this old gal. But I hear tell Jelly Roll puts on a good show. Sings for about an hour and a half, they say. That’s a long time to be singin’, I tell ya. Must get mighty thirsty up there on that stage.
Folks are sayin’ he’s from Nashville. That’s way down south, ain’t it? Heard they got good music down there. Guess that’s why Jelly Roll’s so good at singin’. He’s got that southern charm, ya know?
And this “Beautifully Broken” tour, it’s a big deal. He’s goin’ all over the place, singin’ for folks everywhere. He’s even stoppin’ in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh too, later in October. I hear some folks sayin’ he sings about his life, all the ups and downs. That’s what makes a good song, I think. Singin’ about real stuff, stuff that folks can relate to. Heard he had a tough life, but he made somethin’ of himself. That’s somethin’ to be proud of, I tell ya.
